ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

This years AGM will take place in our clubrooms on SATURDAY 18th September at 2.30 p.m.

September 20th:  2009 Annual General Meeting.

This years AGM took place on Sunday 20th September 2009, commencing at 2.30 p.m. in our clubrooms.

All club members had  notification posted to them, including nomination forms for the election of office bearers and committee members. All positions were open and all members were urged to attend this important yearly meeting.

The meeting proceeded as per the agenda with the Presidents, Captains, Treasurers and Lady Presidents Reports being accepted as printed in the AGM Annual Report.
Copies of the report are available to members in the Clubhouse.

The nominations for Office Bearers and Committee members were announced,  and with one nomination for each position open, elections were not required and all nominees were duly appointed.

The Committee for 2009/ 2010 are as follows.

President:  Mick Devlin
Vice President:  Trevor Jones
Secretary:  Simon McPhee
Treasurer:  Michael Moss
Captain:  Linton Jaffe

General Committee Members:
Margaret Tempest,  Margaret Webber,  Lawrie Beet.

The retiring President, Bob Carr, thanked the 2008/ 2009 Committee for their sterling efforts in the past year and welcomed the new President and Committee for 2009/ 2010.

Life Memberships were conferred upon Trevor Mitchard and Mike Benham in recognition of their services to Tirhatuan Golf Club.

At the conclusion of the AGM, a short break was taken prior to the 2008/ 2009 Trophy Presentations.


 Light refreshments were served at the conclusion of the presentations.
